Maternity Style: Comfy, Casual, and Cute

YAY FOR THE VERY FIRST FASHION BLOG POST!!! I really wish I started this when I was pregnant with Jaxon, but what can ya do right? ANYWAYYYYYY, let's get TO IT!

So being 20 weeks pregnant (Holy crap I can't believe I am half way there already!) this is obviously going to be a maternity style post but the good news is... THIS IS NOT A MATERNITY DRESS! :) This option is great pre-baby, during baby, and after baby. SO...Let's take a look at the whole thing.

As you can see, there really isn't much to this look but boy can the most simple dress accentuate that bump in the most beautiful way. This is a simple, grey, ribbed dress with a high neckline. What I love about a high neckline is they make your boobies and shoulders look so great somehow. This dress is from Forever 21 last year unfortunately. The good news is they have extremely similar versions of this dress this year! I will link them below for you guys along with some other really similar styles. I decided to pair this dress with nude lace up heels from Guess to dress it up a bit. Again, these heels are an older style but I will link similar styles below. You can really throw ANY kind of shoes with this awesome dress. Below you will see I have paired it with cute flat sandals with some studs on the straps. Another option would be throwing on any kind of slip on sneaker which I will link for you below as well.

The great thing about this dress is it was less than 25 dollars!! Had this been a maternity dress you would most likely spend twice as much for something you can only wear for a couple months. Another great thing is this early on, you can most likely  get away with purchasing your regular size so that you CAN wear it the following year as opposed to getting a maternity dress that you can only wear while your pregnant. If your shopping online, make sure to check the product information to see what kind of material the dress is made of. For instance this dress is 80% rayon, 15% polyester, and 5% spandex. Both rayon and spandex are very forgiving and stretchy so there shouldn't be any issues with you bump fitting in the dress comfortably.

I hope I was able to provide you guys with some wardrobe inspiration!! Don't forget to check the links below for similar styles of this look! Let me know what you guys think! Would you wear this? :)

Thank you for reading!!

Love,

Alexi xo
